Enterprise Ventures Poised to Scale Navy MH‑60 Sustainment After 25 Years

Enterprise Ventures marks 25 years and a long run of Navy work
The technology‑transfer affiliate of Concurrent Technologies Corporation celebrates a quarter‑century and a decade of sustainment work on the Navy’s CSTRS for MH‑60 helicopters.
Enterprise Ventures Corporation (EVC) turned 25 on Sept. 25, 2025. The Johnstown, PA company started in 2000 as the technology transition arm of Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC). It grew from R&D support into an original equipment manufacturer and sustainment partner for tough defense gear.
Long Navy run
EVC highlights its work on the Carriage, Stream, Tow, and Recovery System (CSTRS), a launch and handling system the U.S. Navy developed when it moved mine countermeasure missions to smaller helicopters in 1999. CTC led the early design and tests. EVC became the OEM and now handles ongoing sustainment. With the Navy planning to keep the MH‑60 helicopter in service for the next decade and beyond, EVC says the CSTRS program will run on a similar schedule.
Products and strategy
The company sells tools and materials that cut maintenance time and costs. Key offerings named in the release include the Bridge Tool Deluxe Kit (BTDK) for H‑60/S‑70 helicopters, the Skive Tool Kit for removing stealth materials, and shipbuilding tools such as the Edge Prep Tool and Pipe Cutting and Bevel Tool Kit.
EVC also makes specialty coatings — including TALON®/CARC‑E and CARC‑L — and works from formulation through full production. It recently partnered with Akita Innovations on a Defense Threat Reduction Agency project to scale a waterless decontamination fluid for military equipment.
In software, EVC built AGIS, a cross‑domain data transfer tool. AGIS supported national security clients for about 10 years and is scheduled to retire at the end of FY25.
On the numbers, EVC closed its fiscal year after a three‑year run of over 8% growth and has launched a new three‑year strategic plan to expand product lines that leverage existing capabilities.
“Our continued success is driven by our exceptional workforce, whose dedication earned us the ‘Best Places to Work in PA’ award,” EVC President Ed Peretin said.
For investors, EVC’s strengths are steady defense ties and niche industrial products that save time and money. The long CSTRS sustainment horizon and specialty coatings create predictable revenue streams. The retirement of AGIS could free up engineering focus for new products. Watch contract announcements and the company’s progress against its three‑year plan for signs of faster growth.
